Beachin' Sunrise
A lesson we are (not so) quickly learning as time goes by is to start the day out early.
I think we're passed the clubs and 4am bed times, we're passed all the drinking until we can't see straight, we're passed the things that would shorten our years on this planet and we're onto embracing the beauty we have available to us.

With that new found world appreciation and the realization that we aren't 21 anymore, we try to go places and really live in the moment when we're there.

On this particular morning we set our sights on 'sunrise on a beach' with no definite destination in mind but Direction:South. We woke up around 5am on a Saturday, drove for an hour or so south, and stopped at an empty giant parking lot in Longboat Key, Sarasota. Our "just drive" directional senses must be stellar by this point because the location was perfect. We could see storms raining down in the light of the sunrise, and hear the waves crashing on a rocky inlet. The water was just warm enough to feel with the sand between our toes, and the bugs were not yet awake, so it quickly became a magical morning.
Here are the photos we gathered, and we hope to start doing much much more work with sunrises given the peace and beauty you can see in them unlike a sunset when everyone lines the beach in anticipation. We are also launching a new YouTube channel about the wildlife and scenery we see living in Florida be sure to visit it Here
